Café Zuppina, a cherished Mediterranean eatery, has been a beacon of healthy dining in Lakeland for over a decade. Founded by the dynamic duo, Berna and Erkan Nar, the restaurant serves as a culinary ambassador, introducing the vibrant flavors of Turkish cuisine to the city. With a steadfast commitment to quality, Berna and Erkan personally source fresh, local ingredients daily to craft dishes that delight their patrons.

Established in 2009, Café Zuppina began humbly, nestled in a cozy dining room. However, its popularity soared, prompting expansion. In 2019, the Nars unveiled a neighboring market brimming with tempting to-go options, delectable pastries, aromatic coffee, and more, seamlessly blending cultures and flavors in the heart of Lakeland.

Sounds funny, but it is so difficult to find amazing food that is sourced with care and prepared without all the commercial chemicals and unnecessary ingredients. Cafe Zuppina has is right. Cafe Zuppina has always be a weekly go to for me because of its great food, nice staff, and clean restaurant. The new place went next level on an already outstanding experience. It was great to be able to enjoy Berna’s wonderful cooking again! I ordered the Romanian Brisket Platter and my wife ordered the Lamb Platter. Everything was delicious. The portions are generous, so we ended up taking some food home for later. Café Zuppina is a delight! They are open for both dine-in and carry out orders. Make a point of stopping by whenever you’re downtown in Lakeland.

Incredible food, and lots of it!  Service was top notch.  The atmosphere of the new location in downtown Lakeland is great.  Much more space than the old location. Highly recommend this restaurant.  Will absolutely return!
